Diagnostic Precision with DICOM Part 14 Factory Adjustment
To ensure the most accurate and consistent shadings possible, Eizo RadiForce MX216 2MP Diagnostic Display Monitor carefully measures and sets every grayscale tone on the production line to produce a monitor compliant with DICOM Part 14.
The MX216 is the first MX-Series monitor to include EIZO’s Hybrid Gamma PXL function, which automatically distinguishes between monochrome and color images pixel by pixel, creating a hybrid display where each pixel has optimum grayscale. As a result, monochrome images are displayed in the DICOM® Part 14 grayscale, while color images are reproduced corresponding to Gamma 2.2, for improved efficiency when viewing color and monochrome images together.
Environmentally-Friendly LED Backlight
By utilizing an energy-efficient LED as a backlight, the monitor achieves a high-brightness and low power consumption at the same time. Since the LED backlight is mercury-free, it will reduce any potential impact on the environment when it is disposed of.

Eizo MX216 Quick and Easy Focus
The MX216 is compatible with EIZO’s Point-and-Focus function. With Point-and-Focus, you can quickly select and focus areas of your concern with just your mouse and keyboard. Change the brightness and grayscale tones of these areas to make viewing images easier.
Presence Sensor for Power Savings
The presence sensor prompts the monitor to switch to power save mode when it detects the user is away from the monitor, and then resumes normal operation when the user returns.

Easy Calibration with Integrated Front Sensor
With the RadiCS LE software (included) and Integrated Front Sensor (IFS) built into the front bezel, you can easily calibrate to DICOM Part 14 without having to mount, run, and remove an external sensor.
Integrated Front Sensor, housed within the front bezel, is conveniently enabled and visible only when calibration is being performed. This dramatically reduces the time and effort needed for quality control.
