Sony LMD-XH550MD medical monitor is packed with innovative technologies for impressive 4K Ultra HD images with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (16:9 screen aspect ratio) and HDR compatibility with HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) incorporation for stunningly lifelike images with a peak brightness of more than 1,500 cd/m2 (panel specification) and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. All these technologies provide medical professionals with a high level of visual details and accuracy in images.
HDR Compatible
When receiving HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) signals from a compatible imaging system, the LMD-XH550MD can accurately reproduce HDR images with a wider range of brightness levels, greater contrast and rich colors.
Local Dimming Technology
Sony’s unique Local Dimming Technology provides precise control over LED lighting sources for backlights in both light and dark areas. This technology allows for independent activation (ON) and deactivation (OFF) of LED lighting sources for each specific area, enabling redistribution of saved power from dark areas to boost the brightness of bright areas. The outcome is exceptional performance for HDR content, providing more natural images for an immersive viewing experience.
Wide, accurate color reproduction
The monitor’s advanced LCD panel and signal processing technology support highly consistent, accurate reproduction of a wide color gamut. The clone-output feature allows you to effortlessly see or record the same content that you are currently viewing when the second monitor or recorder is connected. Additionally, you have the flexibility to select the resolution of the clone-output, choosing between 4K or HD depending on your specific usage requirements.
Multiple display modes
Alongside a choice of standard display modes – side-by-side, picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-out-picture (POP) – V Full mode lets users change smaller POP images to be enlarged and displayed full screen. Either or both POP images can be enlarged by the user as required.
