The Sony UP-X899MD is a compact A6 black-and-white hybrid printer and is the successor to Sony’s medical printer UP-898 series. It can accept both analog video as well as PC-friendly digital USB signal inputs. It delivers high-speed, outstanding quality, black-and-white printing with enhanced image accuracy, an improved user interface/printing cutter, and upgraded environmental performance.

The dual cutter on the Sony UP-X899MD allows prints to be cut upwards or downwards, with blades at the top and bottom of the output slot. Smooth downward cutting is possible even when the printer is installed below the ultrasound console. The redesigned cutter ensures even smoother operation, enhancing workflow efficiency.
