Eizo MX194-BK is a 19 inch, 1 megapixel monitor with DICOM Part 14 calibration for viewing DSA, CT, and MRI.
Attain Steady Images Across the Screen
The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function helps to even out fluctuations in brightness and chroma on different parts of the screen to provide smoother images.
DICOM Part 14 Compliant
To ensure the most accurate and consistent shadings possible, Eizo MX194BK Clinical Review Display carefully measures and sets every grayscale tones on the production line to produce a monitor compliant with DICOM Part 14. Perform a simplified calibration compliant with DICOM Part 14 using the bundled RadiCS LE quality control software. RadiCS LE corrects the brightness and grayscale tones of the monitor to maintain image accuracy and consistency over time.
Brightness Stabilization
At startup or upon wakeup, the MX194 Clinical Review Display patented drift correction function quickly stabilizes the brightness level. In addition, a sensor measures the backlight brightness and compensates for brightness fluctuations caused by the ambient temperature and the passage of time. EIZO guarantees 10,000 hours of use when the brightness is maintained at the recommended 180 cd/m2 (maximum 350 cd/m2). As the monitor is compliant with DICOM Part 14, it can faithfully reproduce medical images such as DSA, CT, and MRI, even over long-term use.
Handy Partitioning for Widescreen Monitor and Multi-Monitor Environments
Eizo RadiForce MX194 Clinical Review Display ScreenSlicer is a monitor software utility that allows an entire screen to be effectively used though partitioning. Multiple windows can be easily aligned and dropped into the partitioned areas in single- or multi-monitor environments for convenience.
Backlight Saver with Viewer Application
By setting the Backlight Saver function to operate with viewer application, the monitor’s backlight is on while the viewer is being used and the backlight is off while the viewer is not being used.

Mode Selection for Optimum Viewing
Selectable with the front panel buttons, the CAL Switch function allows for various calibration modes of different modalities such as CR, CT, and endoscope images. Furthermore, auto mode settings can be made with the Auto CAL Switch function.
Backlight Saver with Screen Saver
With ScreenManager Pro for Medical utility software installed, the Backlight Saver function turns off the monitor’s backlight when the screen saver is activated, and turns it on again when the computer comes out of screen saver mode. This function helps to reduce power consumption when the monitor is used for a prolonged period of time.
