The Sony UP-D72XR has been designed for easy operation and maintenance. All important controls are on the front panel. An easy to read LCD display is also located on the front panel making the user aware of all printing functions. -
Secure Locking System.
The newly designed secure print media tray lock system is built for the mobile market in mind. This system ensures that the print media tray will remain locked during movement. -
Window for Easy Media Availability Checking.
The unit is equipped with a small media window on the print media tray. This enables you to check the amount of film or print media still available without actually opening the print media tray. -
Detachable Dust Filter.
To prevent the cooling fan from drawing dust into the imager, the Sony UP-D72XR features a detachable dust filter. This avoids such problems as white spots appearing in image printouts. -
Image Resizing Feature.
You can print images in full, or with two or four images split across a single sheet, using the Sony UP-D72XR ’s image resizing feature*. * This feature is not supported by the supplied Microsoft®Windows®-compatible printer driver. For more details, please contact your nearest Sony office. -
Worldwide Power Supply.
The Sony UP-D72XR is suitable for use all around the world because it can operate with AC 100 V to120 V and AC 220 V to 240 V power supplies. -
Environmentally Friendly.
The Sony UP-D72XR is based on Sony dry-processing technology which means the print media use no liquid chemicals or heavy metals such as silver. This frees you from the hassle of disposing of chemical waste.

Superb Print Quality
Incorporating Sony's dye sublimation technology, the Sony UP-DR80MD produces photo-quality prints. It also employs Sony's laminating technology, which coats each print with a protective layer that's resistant to light, heat, water, humidity, and fingerprints. This laminating technology allows the prints to be placed in long-term storage without fear of degradation. The Sony UP-DR80MD can print onto two different sizes of paper: A4 (297 x 210 mm, 11 3/4 x 8 3/8 inches) and Letter (279 x 216 mm, 11 x 8.5 inches). -
Stylish Design and Compact Size
The Sony UP-DR80MD has a stylish design that fits perfectly with most medical environments. Its glossy white surface allows users to wipe it clean easily. Also, the compact body of the UP-DR80MD (approx. 317(W) x 207(H) x 425(D) mm (12 1/2 (W) x 8 1/8 (H) x 16 3/4 (D) inches) enables it to fit into both medical carts and constrained spaces. -
Front Operation
The front-loading operation makes it easy to replace paper and ribbon, and allows the Sony UP-DR80MD to be installed in even the tightest of spaces. This useful design feature also allows you to use the printer on-cart. -
